•  2024 HPBA BASEBALL REGISTRATION  •

Registration for the upcoming 2024 season now open!

After the end of March, only those who registered will continue to receive emails. You can still register late, however you will miss out on any communications.

If you are not returning to baseball, please let Holly know so she can remove you from the contact list.

Payment plans are available;  however, ALL players must have their tryout fees paid by April 1st ($110)

All etransfers are to be sent to hammondsplainsball@gmail.com – please use baseball as the answer.

Please remember – league placement is determined by the player’s birth year NOT school year.

There is an additional cost to those participating in our Competitive (Rep) program. If you register your child for tryouts and return to our house program – you will receive an etransfer for the difference between the appropriate house and competitive registration fee amounts.

For League information, please click on the appropriate link for your player’s age group in the table below:

When registering your player, the system will default to the “credit card” payment method and it will automatically add the credit card fee to your total.

If you are paying by a method other than credit card, please change it using the drop-down menu to reflect your appropriate method of payment.

Once you have done that, the total will be adjusted to reflect the Registration Fee listed above without the credit card fee.

Last year many folks sent an etransfer that included the credit card fee – we would like to avoid that if at all possible moving forward.

SUMMER STUDENTS

For over 15 years, we have employed several summer students.  These individuals are crucial in the running of this baseball association.  Field preparation, camps, canteens, etc.  are just some of the tasks that they assist in;  without them, HPBA would be lost.

The federal and provincial governments drastically reduced the amount of grants they are awarding.  We went from ten grants in 2022 to only three in 2023. This was a huge hit to the budget.  Unfortunately this means registration fees will have to increase to help offset this deficit.

UMPIRES

Players wishing to become umpires, please let Holly know.

Registration for Umpire clinics will open on March 2nd  https://www.bnsud.ca/

COMPETITIVE (REP) TRYOUTS (11U , 13U, 15U, 18U)

Any girls wishing to tryout for 11U, 13U, 15U and 18U, should register in that age group.

Girls can also play as an overager.

For example if she is 12 – she can play 11U; 14 – she can play 13U, etc.

COACHING

If you are interested in coaching/assistant coaching, please let Holly know.

You must also register as a Coach through the RAMP Registration website under the Staff Tab.  THIS IS FOR ALL DIVISIONS

If you are planning to coach at the Competitive (Rep) level, you must complete the appropriate coaching courses listed in the NCCP program.

GIRLS LEAGUE
